The Alpinestars SMX Waterproof Jacket delivers sport performance, comfort, and weather protection for the dedicated rider. This jacket combines advanced materials and innovative features to create a riding experience that excels in various conditions.
Description
The SMX Waterproof Jacket is constructed from a blend of poly-fabric and stretch softshell, offering durability, lightweight feel, and a comfortable fit. Its integrated 2L waterproof membrane and Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment ensure excellent wet weather performance. Strategically positioned stretch panel inserts are designed to accommodate the Alpinestars Airbag System, allowing for expansion when the airbag inflates while also providing a high level of anatomical performance when riding without the system. The jacket features Nucleon Flex Plus armor on the shoulders and elbows for impact protection, with optional Nucleon chest and back protectors available for enhanced safety. A detachable thermal liner (100g body, 80g sleeves) enables climate control, while the elongated rear and shock cord waist offer enhanced coverage and a secure fit. DFS Lite dynamic friction shield (DFS) on the shoulders provide added abrasion resistance.
