The AXP Racing Skid Plate is crafted from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), providing a 6 mm thick shield against impacts and debris. Designed to cover the entire underside of your frame, this skid plate safeguards the lower engine and crankcases from rocks, roots, and other hazards on the track or trail. Unlike aluminum, HDPE absorbs impacts, preventing deformation and eliminating unwanted vibrations. The skid plate's lightweight design, being 40% lighter than aluminum alternatives, ensures optimal performance without compromising maneuverability and handling.
