The Cometic Clutch Cover Gasket delivers a superior seal and exceptional durability for your motorcycle's clutch cover. Crafted with advanced materials and precision engineering, this gasket ensures reliable performance and ease of installation.
Description
Cometic clutch cover gaskets are constructed from AFM (Aluminum Foam Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. This unique construction provides the gasket with the strength needed for a superior seal, preventing weeping or crawling, especially in modern engine cases with limited sealing surfaces. Installation is simplified as no sealants are required, saving valuable service time. The AFM material will not stick to the engine case, making future replacements quick and easy, eliminating the need for scraping. AFM offers a high temperature resistance exceeding 250°F (121°C) and provides an 85% recovery rate while maintaining strong torque retention. Re-torquing is not required after installation, further streamlining the service process. Proudly made in the USA.
