Description

The Daytona Twin Tec VT-i Electronic Ignition System is a significant upgrade for models using a traditional mechanical advance mechanism. The system's fully encapsulated construction ensures durability and resistance to the elements. A digitally set RPM limiter, adjustable in 200 RPM increments from 5200 to 7000 RPM, allows for precise control over your engine's performance. Electronic dwell control optimizes ignition energy at high RPM while reducing current draw at lower speeds. This ignition system is compatible with most OE and aftermarket dual-fire ignition coils and features a Hall effect sensor for stable spark timing. The status LED simplifies static timing, and the system operates reliably even at voltages below 6V. With over-temperature protection and a waterproof design, the VT-i system is built to withstand harsh conditions and is rated to operate at temperatures up to 260°F (125°C). Installation is simplified with a two-wire hookup to the coil.
