Description
This complete engine set features friction plates constructed with anti-swell, alloy-impregnated, heavy-duty cork-based facings. This design ensures smooth clutch take-up and allows for superior modulation, unlike paper clutches that tend to snatch. The kit includes heavy-duty springs and steel separator plates that prevent premature driven plate wear, oil muddying, and loss of stack height. Built with swagged aluminum carriers, the kit effectively spreads the load on the clutch basket, preventing clutch basket "dogging." The included heavy-duty clutch springs are uprated by 10-15%, providing increased clamping force for improved performance and reliability.
