Important to Know

• This dipstick does get hot during operation; always use a glove when checking the oil level to prevent burns.
• There are two methods to accurately read the oil level with this dipstick: with the bike on the jiffy stand (Full Hot Stand - FHS) or with the bike upright and level (Full Hot Upright - FHU).
• The oil pick-up port is typically on the right side of the engine. Letting the bike idle or warm up on the kickstand can naturally fill the engine case and skew the oil level reading in the tank.
• Feuling recommends running the oil level 90%-99% full when the engine is hot for optimal performance and protection.
