The Reaper® 538 cam is optimized for 124" and larger cubic inch engines, where it truly shines with an enhanced compression ratio. While the stock throttle body provides an excellent powerband, upgrading to a high-flow throttle body will further amplify peak power output. Ported cylinder heads are not mandatory but will complement the cam, resulting in even greater pulling power throughout the RPM range.
