The Feuling Parts Vented Dipstick is designed to alleviate excessive crankcase pressure, optimizing engine performance and efficiency. This high-quality billet dipstick replaces the stock part and offers improved oil level readings.
Description
The Feuling Parts Vented Dipstick effectively vents and breathes excessive crankcase pressure from the oil tank, utilizing a PCV-style breather with an advanced oil separator system. This system includes a perforated disc, replaceable filter element, and umbrella flapper valve, ensuring optimal performance. By removing unwanted blowby pressure—caused by gases forced past the rings and cylinders—the dipstick helps to maintain proper oil levels and improves engine efficiency. Feuling's testing demonstrates a decrease in engine oil sump levels, smoother engine revving, increased MPG, and reduced blowby.
This vented dipstick allows for two convenient methods to check the oil level: with the bike on the jiffy stand (FHS - Full Hot Stand) or upright and level (FHU - Full Hot Upright). The kit includes two venting style options: a 1/8" NPT breather vent fitting with an internal porous filter element, and a quick disconnect coupler fitting with a rubber hose and filter element. Important to know
This dipstick gets hot during operation; always use a glove when checking the oil level. Feuling recommends maintaining the oil level between 90% and 99% full when hot. Note that idling or warming up the bike on the kickstand will skew the oil level reading due to the oil pick-up port being on the right side of the engine.
