Description
Built from certified 8620 AISI steel, the Hot Rods connecting rod offers superior strength compared to stock components. The crankpins are crafted from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 steel and case hardened to 58-62Rc for enhanced durability. Featuring advanced caged needle roller bearing designs, this connecting rod kit is optimized for high RPM applications. The uniquely designed big end incorporates strategically placed side scalloping and vent slots, minimizing bearing race distortion at extreme speeds. Double-drilled small ends provide increased lubrication and cooling to the wrist pin bearing, particularly crucial when the piston crown is close to the bearing. Shot-peened to eliminate surface stress risers and double honed for an ultra-round bearing surface, this connecting rod kit ensures optimal performance and reliability. Compatible with both Hot Rods and OE crankshafts, this kit is proudly made in the USA.
