Description
Jims Powerglide™ Tappets are engineered for superior performance in both cast iron and aluminum tappet blocks. Manufactured from billet bearing steel, these tappets offer a true center-line for extended roller life and exact cam timing. The state-of-the-art pushrod seat features a segmented parabolic cup, mirroring the design of Jims roller rockers, optimizing pushrod stability and reducing wear. Each hydraulic unit is meticulously hand-fit to a running clearance of 0.0002" using an ultra-precision air gauging system, guaranteeing consistent and reliable hydraulic action. These tappets are built to withstand the demands of high-performance engines, offering improved responsiveness and overall engine efficiency. Proper installation with a tappet block clearance of 0.0007" to 0.0012" is recommended for optimal performance.
