Description
This exhaust valve features a one-piece stainless-steel construction with a stellite tip, enhanced by a special nitriding process. This nitriding process creates a hardened surface layer with a depth of 0.002" and a surface buildup of 0.0002", significantly improving wear resistance and reducing friction. The nitrided layer also provides excellent corrosion resistance, surpassing hard chromium and electrolytic nickel plating in durability. Its lightweight design and optimized profile maximize flow characteristics, contributing to improved engine performance. Compatible with both leaded and unleaded fuels, this valve can be used with cast iron and bronze valve guides, allowing for tight tolerances to achieve maximum oil control and efficient heat dissipation.
