Description

The Motion Pro Rev3 Variable Rate Throttle Kit features a slim throttle housing, maximizing lever clearance and providing ample adjustment. Its revolutionary reel changing system allows for easy customization of throttle rate, while the included cable boot ensures smooth and reliable operation by keeping out dirt and dust. With five different reels, you can achieve the perfect throttle response for any situation. Smaller reels deliver a slower throttle rate, while larger reels offer a faster response. The included cam reel provides a progressive throttle response favored by many riders. The improved throttle stop enhances strength and durability, and the snap-together elbows simplify reel changes. The upper section of the cables utilize a 6 mm housing, providing solid support for the adjusters, while the lower section features a 5 mm housing with a PTFE liner for reduced friction, increased routing flexibility, and lighter weight. Billet aluminum inline cable adjusters facilitate easy installation and adjustment. Note that while Rev3 kits have model-specific cables, the throttle itself is not model-specific, and adjustments may be necessary for optimal fitment. This kit is compatible with Motion Pro DirtControl™ V2 Lock-On grips and ODI Lock-On grips.

Important to know

The Rev3 throttle itself is not model specific; therefore, in some situations, the Rev3 kit may not be a direct bolt on installation due to space limitations on the stock handlebar. In some installations, it may be necessary to move other control components on the stock handlebar, shorten the Rev3 throttle tube and grip, install longer after market handlebars, or possibly all of the above. It is up to the end user to determine the best method for fitment on their motorcycle, and ensure that the Rev3 kit is installed properly and with the correct clearances for safe operation. Installation should be done by a qualified mechanic and carefully checked for proper function. Improper installation could result in great bodily injury or death.
