Progressive Suspension Rear Shocks for Milwaukee Eight Softail – Frame & Rear Suspension

These 465 Series shocks from Progressive Suspension for the 2018 and later Softail models with their Cantilever Monoshock rear suspension feature 5-step adjustable rebound damping and adjustable spring pre-load. For those who want to adjust the spring pre-load without using tools we also have them with RAP Remote Adjustable Preload. This allows adjustment with a simple turn-of-the-knob. Shock mounting eyes feature spherical bearings, whereas the OEM shocks have a rubber bushing and needle bearing in those spots. State of the art high pressure gas monotube shock design. It utilizes a large 46mm bore and deflective disc piston for precise damping. The beefy 16mm hard chrome shaft rides on custom Viton seals for low friction and leak free life. The 465 is custom tuned for each application and is completely optimized for each bike, from the damping and spring rate all the way down to the bounce bumper which results in increased suspension compliance. For those who often ride with a passenger and/or heavily packed these shocks are also available in a Heavy Duty version with higher rate springs fitted. These shocks fit all 2018 to present Softail models so you can go for stock length, or a longer shock for increased ride height or a shorter shock for that Low Rider look. A 10-12mm shorter than shock will reduce ride height with1", a 24mm shorter than stock shock will reduce ride height with 2", 10-12mm longer shock will increase ride height with 1", a 24mm longer than stock shock will increase ride height with 2".
