The Prox Cast Piston Kit is engineered with designs often mirroring OEM configurations, enhanced where possible by Prox engineers for superior performance. Manufactured using gravity casting with an aluminum alloy containing approximately 18% silicon, these pistons offer exceptional stability and reduced thermal expansion. This silicon content is crucial, providing dimensional stability under high operating temperatures. Specifically designed for two-stroke engines, Prox pistons are suitable for both cast iron and Nikasil cylinder bores. For Nikasil cylinders, the kit is available in multiple oversizes (A/B/C/D), each incrementing by 0.01mm in diameter, ensuring a precise fit for your specific engine requirements. The moly coated skirt provides improved wear resistance and reduced friction.
