Description
The Renthal Twinring™ Rear Sprocket features a unique two-piece design. The inner ring is machined from Renthal's high-strength Ultralight™ 7075 T-6 aluminum, the same material used in their standard sprockets, ensuring minimal weight and maximum strength. The outer ring is made from electro-less nickel-coated steel, providing ultimate durability and wear resistance. This steel outer ring is carefully designed with minimal material to maintain a low overall weight. The outer ring is thermally fitted to the inner ring, creating a permanent and robust bond that can withstand extreme conditions. Flat socket head screws add additional strength, especially during side impacts, and prevent interference with the chain guide. Self-cleaning mud grooves between each tooth prevent dirt build-up, reducing chainwheel wear and weight. The Renthal Twinring™ sprocket offers up to three times the lifespan of a standard aluminum sprocket while remaining significantly lighter than an all-steel rear sprocket. Ideal for riders seeking a balance of weight savings and long-term durability.
