Rick's Motorsport Electric Starter Motor - 61-008

Upgrade your Arctic Cat's starting performance with this high-quality starter from Rick's Motorsport Electric. This starter is designed as a reliable and durable alternative to OEM units, ensuring your machine starts smoothly and consistently.

Description

Many OEM starter motors suffer from a design flaw: an unprotected output needle bearing located outside the output shaft seal. This allows moisture to penetrate the motor's output cap, travel along the armature shaft, and corrode the bearing. Rick's Motorsport Electric addresses this issue with a superior design. This aftermarket unit features a double-sealed ball bearing, strategically positioned with the output shaft seal on the outside. This common-sense engineering provides dual benefits: it effectively shields the outer bearing from damaging water ingress, and it makes the sealed ball bearing easily replaceable, extending the starter's lifespan. Choose Rick's for enhanced reliability and long-lasting performance.
