The kit includes a high-performance S&S oil pump and cam plate system, meticulously designed with independent scavenge sections for both the flywheel cavity and cam chest, ensuring superior oil management. Debris screens in both scavenge pickups and a magnet in the cam chest actively prevent contaminants from reaching the oil pump, extending engine life. With increased oil flow capacity on both the feed and scavenge sides, and an adjustable pressure relief valve that can be tuned while installed, your engine receives consistent and clean lubrication under all conditions.

This comprehensive package boasts Quickee pushrods with robust pushrod tubes, S&S premium tappets, and hard-anodized, black-coated billet aluminum tappet cuffs for exceptional reliability. High-performance S&S valve springs, featuring a conical single-wire design, are included and are capable of accommodating cams with up to 0.605" lift. At its heart is the S&S 496 cam, specifically engineered for big bore applications, delivering an impressive 11.0:1 compression ratio. An MLS (multi-layered steel) head gasket ensures a reliable seal.
