Description

The S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit for M8 engines is a complete solution for upgrading your valvetrain. The oil pump and cam plate are precision-machined from billet aluminum and feature a blue anodized finish for durability and style. Independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest, along with debris screens, ensure optimal oil flow and engine cleanliness. The adjustable pressure relief valve allows for fine-tuning while the engine is installed. S&S Quickee pushrods with finished pushrod tubes and premium tappets provide improved stability, especially in high-lift and high-rpm applications. Billet aluminum tappet cuffs with a hard-anodized black coating further enhance tappet stability and prevent distortion. This kit not only improves performance but also provides increased cam timing accuracy by eliminating the stock cam chain tensioner. All necessary gaskets, bearings, and hardware are included for a straightforward installation.
