Description
The S&S Cycle HP103 Easy Start Camshaft Kit is engineered to improve the performance of your 103" engine. This kit features a unique compression release mechanism that reduces cranking compression for easier starting. Once the engine is running and RPM increases, the compression release lobe retracts, allowing the engine to operate at full compression without any performance loss. Designed as bolt-in cams, this kit works perfectly with stock, unported heads as well as S&S CNC ported heads. It is optimized for engines with stock 9.7:1 compression ratio up to 10.5:1 compression ratio, delivering significant power gains in the 3000-6000 RPM range. Installation requires checking coil bind and valve-to-piston clearance to ensure optimal operation. This kit is proudly made in the USA with high-quality materials for long-lasting performance.
