Designed for the demanding conditions of racing, the Vertex Cast Race Piston Kit is a premium upgrade for your 85cc 2-stroke engine. Crafted from a gravity cast aluminum alloy with an impressive 18% silicone content, this piston achieves an exceptional balance of being extremely light yet remarkably strong. This robust construction is further enhanced by a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle, ensuring outstanding durability and resistance to wear under extreme operating temperatures. To promote faster break-in times and significantly extend piston life, the skirts are coated with a high-tech Molybdenum Disulphite (Moly) coating, reducing friction and wear.
