Description
The Vertex Pro HC forged piston is crafted using advanced Vertex technology to deliver a high compression ratio of 13.9:1. This results in improved power and torque across the entire RPM range, giving you a noticeable boost in performance. Constructed from 2618 forged aluminum alloy, the piston offers superior strength and durability to withstand the increased pressures and temperatures of high-performance applications. Each piston undergoes a T-5 heat treatment process, hardening and tempering it for maximum reliability. The piston skirt is coated with a high-tech Molybdenum Disulphide coating, ensuring faster break-in times and significantly extending piston life. Designed as a standard size A piston with a diameter of 76.95mm to fit a 77.00mm bore. The included rings are made from nitride-coated steel, providing optimal sealing and wear resistance.
